Aspire Charity Channel Swim

Aspire is a charity that works with people with a spinal cord injury to create opportunity, choice and independence.Aspires national services and programmes include adapted housing for people leaving hospital if houses aren’t yet accessible, specialist computer equipment, independent living officers who provide direct support and advice for people recently injured and the Human Needs Fund which people can apply to for funding for specialist equipment. Aspire ensures that everyone with a spinal cord injury has the opportunity to live an independent and fulfilled life.

Aspires are currently preparing for their annual Aspire Channel Swim. The Swim will take place from September 15^th-December 7^th and is a 22 mile swim (the distance of the channel) across 12 weeks in the comfort of your own swimming pool. Last year the swim raised £345,000 with 7,000 people taking part nationwide.
